Update: As of January 24th at 10:30 am Summer Road is now open.
Update: As of January 24th at8 am the road is still closed. It appears that they are getting ready to fix things now.
Until further notice Summer road is closed from the Walgreen’s drive to the corner of Summer and Melody lane due to low hanging wires. An old telephone pole was leaning just enough to allow the wires to hang into the street. The wires were hooked by a truck and pulled down further. The truck driver was aware of the situation and stopped immediately to minimize further damage. The electric lines were nearly pulled off of a nearby house. Please avoid the area.
